The Child Protection Portal
The Child Protection Portal is your essential resource on child protection and safeguarding, whether you are involved with child protection as a child health professional, allied health professional, social worker, solicitor or barrister.
With the new portal, a range of child protection and safeguarding resources are provided, along with news and links to courses to support health professionals and different audiences with a special interest in child protection.
Dedicated to child protection – in contrast to child safeguarding which Keeping Children Safe specialises in – the site offers further evidence-based resource for clinicians in the UK and internationally to help inform clinical practice, child protection procedures and professional and expert opinion in the legal system.
The site includes the recently migrated Child Protection Companion and the Child Protection Evidence systematic reviews, as well as other complimentary resources and information on child protection processes across the whole range of medical and social interactions, including research, guidance, publications and standards that are applicable to all four UK devolved nations and internationally.
This new resource will be available via https://childprotection.rcpch.ac.uk/ and will provide you with a navigable resource to ensure excellence in safeguarding and child protection practice.
