Helen Carter

Head of Finance and Operations

Helen Carter, Head of Finance and Operations, joined Keeping Children Safe in April 2016 as Finance and Operations Manager. She is responsible for the Finance, HR and operational functions of KCS and supports the Chief Executive in compliance, governance and managing performance and risk.

Helen started her career in an architectural practice and has worked in a number of roles, in a wide range of organisations. Before joining KCS she was for many years a member of the Senior Management team and Deputy CEO of a disability charity, managing a team of staff in Finance, Administration and HR.

Helen reports to the CEO and the Board of Trustees, supports all areas of KCS’s operations and the members of the KCS Team to deliver the aims and objectives of the organisation, advance good governance, and develop our Strategic Plan.
