Kemonik joins KCS members’ network

Kemonik works with children who are survivors/victims of abuse. With a clear focus on placing children’s safety at the heart of their work, they have taken the step of joining the KCS network to exchange knowledge with other organisations in the field and advance their child safeguarding practices.

‘Protecting children is our top priority’, stated the organisation’s representatives, which is why child safeguarding is so important in their everyday interactions with children-for Kemonik’s work, childsafeguarding mechanisms are not optional but essential.

Within the next year, they aspire to provide every member of their team with essential training and to begin building a strong and context-appropriate child safeguarding policy. These actions will laythe foundation for more structured and sustainable safeguarding practices across the organisation.

Their message to staff, donors and the world is simple but powerful: ‘It is everyone’s responsibility to protect children’.

We are glad to welcome Kemonik into our network and look forward to accompanying them on this journey to protect children from harm.
