There is still so much to be done
Every day, in every country, children are abused, beaten, raped and more. Too often, the abuser is someone in an organisation that’s meant to help and protect children. An adult the child trusts.
Keeping Children Safe has set tough International Child Safeguarding Standards to ensure all organisations can learn how to protect children from exploitation and abuse. We have helped more than 4,000 governmental, civil society and not-for-profit organisations implement our child safeguarding standards in almost every country in the world. As a result of our programmes some 134 million children are now better protected from exploitation and abuse.
But as an independent organisation, while we can self-fund much of our work with earnings from the audits and workshops we carry out, we do also rely on generous donations given to us by individuals and organisations.
This is why we would like to ask you to please support our global efforts to safeguard children by donating to Keeping Children Safe today.
Ways to help us
Donate online
To make an online donation, please go to our donation page, or click the donate button at the top right of this page.
Donate by cheque
If you would like to send a cheque to Keeping Children Safe, please download and complete our single or regular giving donation form, and return it with your cheque, made payable to ‘Keeping Children Safe’ to: Keeping Children Safe, 49 High Street, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 1DT United Kingdom.
Gifts in will
We work with organisations all over the world to safeguard children and prevent child abuse. Extra funding allows us to expand our work further, reaching millions more children who are being abused. This is why gifts in wills are so important to us. Leaving a gift in your will costs nothing in your lifetime, but it can have a huge impact for years to come.
Your money is in safe hands
Because we’re passionate about ending child abuse, we are determined that every penny of your support is put to the best possible use.
As a company limited by guarantee and an independent registered charity, our accounts are independently audited and submitted to Companies House annually, and we also report to the Charity Commission, an independent body that regulates the activities of charities in the UK. You can download our latest Annual Review (pdf) here.
There still is so much work to be done, but we couldn’t do it without your help. So please do consider funding our work today, and help us break the cycle of child abuse. Your generosity really does make a difference. To help, you can donate online, or for larger donations, please contact Helen Carter on +44 (0)20 7250 8325 or email her at helen.carter@keepingchildrensafe.org.uk
