We are pleased to welcome Cultura Inglesa Bilingual School (CIBS) to our global Members Network.
CIBS is part of Cultura Inglesa, a non-profit institution dedicated to providing educational and cultural services and events that promote cultural exchange between Brazil and Great Britain.
CIBS is focused on providing outstanding education in an environment where every child feels safe, respected and empowered. As a new school, they see a unique opportunity to embed child safeguarding into its culture from the very beginning.
They joined KCS Members Network to support aligning their child safeguarding approach with internationally recognised good practices. CIBS’s Director of Pedagogy, Daisy Gava, told us: ‘We aim to have comprehensive policies and procedures taking place, regular staff training, clear reporting pathways and a community that understands safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility’.
Over the next year, CIBS aims to implement comprehensive policies and procedures and building a school community that understands safeguarding as everyone’s responsibility.
CIBS’s message to our community: ‘We believe that when children feel safe, respectedand supported, they develop the confidence to learn, grow and become compassionate global citizens. By investing in safeguarding from the outset, we are investing in the future of every child entrusted to our care.’
