Conferences

It is our mission to help organisations develop and implement measures that prevent abuse from ever happening in the first place. That is why we host several global online conferences each year.

Our live conferences are led by world-leading experts in child safeguarding, who come together to share their insights, experiences, their latest research, and answer questions in live Q&A panel discussions. Subjects covered ranged from keeping children safe in sports, understanding the challenges in UN peacekeeping missions, safeguarding and the law, tackling under-reporting, to implementing child safeguarding in faith-based organisations.

All live events get recorded and will be available for you to watch on-demand at a later date. See further down the page for recorded events.

Cumbre Fe y Protección Infantil Organizacional (Spanish-only) > 8 to 10 November 2022

Faith-based organisations are at the forefront of providing health, education and protection programs, responding to the global pandemic and war and ensuring that some of the world’s most at-risk children have enough food and a safe home.

Following the success of our massive 2021 Faith and Child Safeguarding Summit (see below event), we hosted the same event again, though this time in Spanish-only, titled Cumbre Fe y Protección Infantil Organizacional. It offered an international platform for religious institutions and organisations, academics and world leaders working in Spanish and in Spanish-speaking countries. The event enabled the exchange of ideas, experiences, challenges and good practices to strengthen child safeguarding in religious and faith-based contexts.
