A big welcome to Club Bolivar, who have joined the KCS network as a Corporate Member!
As the biggest, and most important football club in Bolivia, Club Bolivar has many young fans who look up to the team and players. The club also runs a very important young talent development programme.
The daily responsibility the club feels it has to its young fans, and their academies with of over 300 boys and girls, is huge. This is a key driver in their desire to implement the highest child safeguarding standards possible.
The Club is accountable for the welfare of all young people they come in contact with, and especially their academy members. Their aim is to end bullying, abuse and other risks in any of our programmes, so their young players can develop their talent, as well as enjoy a healthy environment, allowing them to maximize their potential.
Club Bolivar sees itself as a leader to introducing, and implementing child safeguarding in Bolivia. They want to be a national role model, setting protocols in safety management when working with or for children. Their staff will be required to be properly trained, to help keep children safe and promote the club’s values.
Their hope is that stakeholders, as well as their fans, will take note and be proud that they are implementing this child safeguarding policies, working with KCS.
