Faith and child safeguarding

Keeping Children Safe’s Faith and Child Safeguarding summit is a massive online conference on child safeguarding for faith-based organisations, providing a platform for religious institutions, faith-based organisations, academics, and world leaders to come together. Here is your chance to exchange insights, experiences, challenges and best practices on child safeguarding in religious and faith-based contexts.

Spread over 4 days, the summit will help give faith organisations a platform to demonstrate their commitment to child safeguarding.

This event is FREE to all organisations and individuals that work with, or for children in faith communities and organisations. We hope you will join forces with us to put safeguarding at the heart of your organisation’s mission!

Share the love and learning

The more people know about child safeguarding, and the more organisations implement KCS’s International Child Safeguarding Standards, the more children will be protected from harm.

So, please spread the word! Tell your colleagues, partners, suppliers and your faith community about this event, by sharing the Faith and Child Safeguarding website link or via #FaithAndChildSafeguarding on social media.

Our mission

Through inter-faith dialogue, this conference aims to create resources that help advance child safeguarding and help accelerate the momentum for child safeguarding to be put at the heart of all organisations and religious institutions.

Joining forces with us means that all organisations, large or small, wherever in the world they may be based, are able to access the most up-to-date information, good practice and proven solutions to shared challenges, and solutions that are relevant to their field of work.

This summit is free for all to attend. But as an independent not-for-profit, we do depend on your generous support to achieve our mission.

With your help, we can help keep so many more children safe from potential abuse, run more free introductory workshops, support more organisations with small budgets, as well as more victim and survivor groups, and reach a much wider global audience. All with the mission of putting child safeguarding at the heart of everything organisations working with children do.

Thank you.
