Refugee Trauma Initiative joins our network
We’d like to welcome Refugee Trauma Initiative (RTI) to the KCS members’ network.
RTI develops and delivers trauma-sensitive programmes and training that facilitate both healing from the experiences of conflict and displacement, and the rebuilding of a sense of agency and community for refugee children, families and youth.
Reflective practice support is also provided for aid workers and volunteers who work directly with refugee communities. RTI was founded in 2016 and since then it has reached over 2,564 children and over 381 caregivers. Currently, RTI is operating in the UK and in Greece, in the regions of Central Greece and Macedonia (North). As part of their recent call for partners in response to the Afghanistan crisis, they anticipate to start working with partners in a number of new countries
