We’re thrilled to share a glimpse into our recent Training of Trainers course for the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services of Zambia. Partnering with PACT/ACHIEVE and USAID, Keeping Children Safe has been on a mission to empower the dedicated staff members of the ministry.
Our focus? Building their capacities to effectively cascade down the recently launched Child Safeguarding Policy of the ministry. The Ministry of Community Development and Social Services in Zambia launched the Child Safeguarding Policy on 12 September 2023. The event took place at MCDSS HQ and was graced by the Permanent Secretary the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services – Mrs, Angela Kawandami. This new Child Safeguarding Policy was drafted by KCS, and was made possible thanks to the generous support of PACT/ACHIEVE and USAID.
