Welcoming Rural Reconstruction and Development Society (RRDS) to the Keeping Children Safe Global Network

We are happy to announce the newest member of the Keeping Children Safe global network: Rural Reconstruction and Development Society (RRDS). Established in 1991 as a non-profit organisation, RRDS operates at the grassroots level in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India, focusing primarily on health, agriculture and gender issues.

Their work is in accelerating social and economic change in operational areas and contributing to building a society where all individuals have access to education, healthcare and better livelihood opportunities. Through a participatory stakeholder-centred approach, RRDS empowers marginalised communities to address their issues and enhance their capabilities, to create a safe and enabling environment where the rights of vulnerable people, including children, are recognised, respected and protected.

Joining our global network at Keeping Children Safe underscores RRDS’s dedication to safeguarding children and ensuring their wellbeing in every aspect of their work.
